We're doing a live show about symmetry and mirrors, as you can probably imagine, we've got plenty of mathy and science-y ideas to play with. We'll be talking about the tiny asymmetry between matter and anti-matter at the very beginning of the universe that led to the "all matter, all the time" universe we all inhabit. We'll explore the gene in almost every creature that dictates right and left. We'll learn about the handed-ness of the molecules that make up life, hair parts and crooked smiles, the nature of beauty, and the sinister nature of the world in the mirror.
But we're still in search of a good ole yarn to spin. So we're on the hunt for a personal, first-person story that somehow reflects some idea of symmetry or asymmetry. Maybe it's about two halves being separated, or coming back together. Maybe it's about something that looks perfectly matched, except for some tiny asymmetry that ends up making a big difference. Twins and love seem like obvious routes to go, but then again, we don't want to go the obvious route. So if it's a twin or a love story, it'll need a pretty surprising twist, or just be too darn compelling to ignore.
