Job Board

A friend of Gangrey asked me to pass this along: The Midland Reporter-Telegram, a Hearst Corp. daily newspaper, is needing a talented, energetic reporter to cover local government in a prosperous community. The reporter will be responsible for covering city and county government and keeping track of our representatives in Austin and Washington. In addition to taking ownership of one of the paper's more well-read beats, there will be plenty of opportunities for in-depth features and enterprise work. This position also offers an opportunity to bring our online audience the latest in mobile journalism. Lastly, we want someone who can fit in with a talented group of young reporters and experienced editors. Some experience is preferred but recent or soon-to-be college graduates are encouraged to apply. Send a resume, cover letter and clips to Managing Editor Mary Dearen (mdearen@mrt.com). Call Mary Dearen at 432-687-8852 with questions.
