I don't watch The Sopranos. I'm glad, too, because I hear the ending sucked. But I'll throw this out because we can't talk enough about endings.
Let Lon Wagner get it going: I wonder what other narrative writers thought about it. Was it suitable? Was it fair to the reader/viewer? Was it fair to the viewer to layer in certain details that never came into play, never became significant? ...
I was initially thrown for a loop and went to bed feeling ripped off. Today, upon reflection, I find myself wanting to like it for its creativity, but can't quite get there.
Anybody have thoughts on this?
