Corner Shots

'Revolution lives in the Star City'

So I find myself in Roanoke, Va., a good bit these days, my much-needed monthly mountain retreat, and this means I find myself reading the Roanoke Times. The paper's got this cool thing called Corner Shot, which runs daily, it seems, at the bottom right of the front of the section called extra. It's very short, and sometimes it's pretty blah, but more often it's a little gem or snippet or ditty that makes me kinda wanna pick up the paper the next day.
