Treating Ignorance With Respect

David Granger's note in this month's Esquire welcomes Charlie Pierce back to the magazine and drops this interesting nugget: "In a memo to me a few months ago, Charlie exhorted me and all of Esquire's writers to 'avoid the common trap of treating ignorance with respect.' There is more ignorance afoot in the world right now getting more credence than at any other time in history."
