Playing Anthropologist

I was talking to a college class the other day and mentioned Tom French (from whom I've stolen nearly all of my tips) and a woman, a little older than the rest, stopped me.

"Did he write Angels and Demons?"

"He's why I'm here."

She said she read the story in high school and decided she would become a journalist. That's a testament to Tom, who is featured this week over at Nieman Storyboard. Check it out.
