RIP Ozzie The Clown

Todd Frankel: "He was really well-known back in the day," his wife, Shirley Richardson, said.

And when the time came several years ago for him to give it up, as age and dementia caught up with him, Mr. Richardson tried to give one last show. A family had requested Ozzie. But he could barely put on his makeup. "It was one of the most difficult days in his life," recalled Jennifer Haupt, 46, one of Mr. Richardson's five children.
