Michael Brick on the Giants: Word had it the Giants were coming to the party. The promoter said to set your watch by it. The assistant promoter promised to make introductions. And the D.J. said that's a fact.

"R. W. McQuarters — is that his name? — and Ahmad Bradshaw host a party at the Plumm every Monday night," said the promoter, Bruce Lynn. "The team decided to have their party at the Plumm because the venue was already set. It's going to be all Giants in the V.I.P. area."

So on the slim evidence of a few past sightings, several hundred football fans, high rollers and party girls crossed the frozen landscape of Manhattan late Monday night to navigate a velvet rope, tithe a $30 cover charge…
