The OC Register is doing away with its business section at the end of January, the largest paper to do so to date.
Other papers will follow suit.
There are lots of meetings in lots of newsrooms about the newspaper of the future.
What should we keep? What should we scrap?
So let's chip in on this discussion before it's too late.
You're the publisher. Your assignment is to blow up the newspaper, decide what stays and what goes, and create a newspaper that will be viable in the future. (And we're talking about making a print paper work in this environment, so "Keep everything and add a Sunday magazine" is not an appropriate answer.)
