For all you Krakauer fans, here comes the movie version of his book Into the Wild. The book reconstructs -- and it's some crazy good reporting -- the last few years of drifter Christopher McCandless' life. The book includes one of the best cover teases I've ever read:



In 1992, a young man from a well-to-do family hitchhiked to Alaska and walked alone into the wilderness north of Mt. McKinley. His name was Christopher Johnson McCandless. He had given $25,000 in savings to charity, abandonded his car and most of his posessions, burned all of the cash in his wallet, and invented a new life for himself.
